Ballet Etudes is committed to reaching a wide audience through our community outreach programs.

Upcoming Events:

Wassal Party 2011: Ballet Etudes will be holding a wassal party for the Friends of the Children's Library on December 9, 2011. 

Art-A-Faire 2011: Ballet Etudes will be at the Huntington Beach Pier on November 11, 2011 advertising for The Nutcracker. We will have a booth in the Pier Plaza (right next to the HB pier).

Ballet Etudes Brunch and Auction: Ballet Etudes will be holding a brunch and auction on October 9, 2011 from 11:00am-2:00pm. This will be taking place at Meadowlark Golf Course.

Festival of Children Performance: Ballet Etudes performed at the Festival of Children event at South Coast Plaza on September 17, 2011. We performed exerpts from Alce in Wonderland and had a few ballet and tap solos in there as well!

Friday, November 19, 2010-Art-A-Faire, visit the Ballet Etudes booth at the Farmer's Market at Pier Plaza, downtown Huntington Beach 12:00 noon-sunset.  Nutcracker tickets may be purchased-pick your seats!

Sunday, November 28, Bella Terra, Ballet Etudes will be performing Nutcracker excerpts as part of the "Magic of Snow" festivities 7:00-8:00 pm. 

3rd Annual Winter Dance Invitational and Choregrapher's Showcase will be January 15, 2011 at Irvine Valley College.  This performance gives young audience members a glimpse of local college and university dance departments.  For more information click here.

Go Red: On Friday March 11, 2011 at around noon, Ballet Etudes will be performing at the American Heart Association & St. Joseph’s Hospital’s fundraising luncheon for the American Heart Association. This event is called “Go Red for Women.”

Ballet Etudes hosts an annual Imagination Celebration event "Imagine Yourself A Dancer" each spring.  Participants ages 4-7 discover life as a dance student by taking a ballet class, creating a ballet craft, meeting a ballerina, and learning about pointe shoes!  The event culminates with a performance of Ballet Etudes Youth Company.  Check back for more information.

Ballet Etudes partners with the Friends of the Childrens Library to make ballet performances accesible to all!  Our two spring story ballets bring book characters to life!  In February 2011, we will perform "The Dancing Princesses" and in April 2011, we will perform "Alice in Wonderland".  For more information click here.
